Mustard’s Grill

It’s Monday again… The weekend flew by too fast. Whenever it’s Monday, I always start thinking of all the places I’d rather be instead of restarting the countdown towards the next weekend.

Just cause I’ve been constantly thinking about the brown sugar meringue topping, I had to go and dig out the pictures of the meal Sam and I had at Mustard’s Grill in Yountville. Usually I’m a heavy steak and potatoes/Flintstone Era carnivore, but they do such a great vegetarian mushroom burger that I always veer towards it. Their onion strings are to die for, sliced perfectly thing and fried perfectly crisp. Their apple ketchup that is served with the onion strings are homemade; it has the perfect amount of tang to it.

Mustard’s Grill is one of my favorite restaurants up there in Napa for casual dining. I’m not a wine drinker, but I’ll always relish a drive up to Wine Country just to stuff my face and play with my camera. During tastings and waiting for our food to digest so I could start on my next meal, Sam took an off road and we drove up the hills so we could look down Napa Valley.
