I love tulips and daffodils. They just seem so bright and cheery. When we first lived in Seattle, we’d drive up to Skagit Valley to enoy the annual Tulip Festival. I came back home earlier this week and saw these on the dining room table.

The candle holders next to the tulips were a wedding gift from our neighbor Carol. I mentioned to her a few weeks ago that we were getting hitched and she remembered the date. The Friday morning before our wedding, I found a lovely package on our doorstep wrapped up with congratulatory card. It was really sweet of her to remember.
